Once you've created an account and logged in, you will be taken to the Dashboard. Here you can get started creating your gift exchange.
From your dashboard:
- Click on Create Your Gift Exchange
- You will see a window with all of the exchange details that you can begin to fill in:
- Name: note that this is the only required field; you will want to make this something everyone in your group with recognize as it will show up in their invites, as well as on their Dashboards
- Date & Time: you can specify the date and time of your gift exchange
- Price Limit: if you want to set a price limit for your group, you have the option of doing so here
- Are you participating? If you are just organizing the gift exchange and aren't participating by purchasing a gift you can specify that here. This way you'll be excluded from the secret santa assignments.
- How will you exchange gifts? Here you can let your group know if you're planning to get together in person to exchange gifts, or if you're celebrating from afar this year and exchanging via mail. If you are exchanging via mail, you have the option of letting your participants enter their mailing address so that it can be automatically shared with their Secret Santa.
- Additional notes for attendees: anything else you want to let your attendees know? This is the place to do it.
- Background: you can choose a festive background image for your gift exchange; if you don't choose an image the default image will be used
- Once you have filled out the information to your liking, click the Create button in the top right hand corner
You will be automatically taken to your exchange where you can view/edit details and invite participants.
